Language Café and Conversation Evenings are 2 parts of great project called Make Yourself at Home. Purpose of this project is to connect diverse communities in TRNAVA.

Conversation Evenings

It doesn’t matter where you come from or what your language skills are – everyone is welcome!

The Conversation Evenings are all about meaningful discussions, open minds, and sharing perspectives on interesting topics. Each session focuses on a different theme—culture, sustainability, travel, traditions, or everyday life—providing a space for international and local participants to exchange thoughts and experiences.

Unlike the casual Language Café, these evenings go deeper into discussions, helping participants not only improve their language skills but also gain a better understanding of different cultures and viewpoints.

No matter your fluency level, your voice matters. Come, listen, share, and connect with others in a space where every conversation brings something new.

Practice Languages in a Friendly Atmosphere

The Language Café is a relaxed and welcoming space where people from different backgrounds come together to

practice languages over a cup of coffee or tea. Whether you’re learning Slovak, English, or another language, this is a great opportunity to improve your speaking skills in an informal setting.

Led by volunteers and native speakers, the café encourages spontaneous conversations, cultural exchange, and new friendships. There’s no need to worry about grammar—just come, talk, and enjoy the company of others! Perfect for beginners and advanced speakers alike, the Language Café helps create a community where everyone feels at home.
